    Xbox One Games Comfirmed

Microsoft is shifting its popular racing franchise into the gear of next-gen with the latest instalment of the Forza Motorsport game.
    (Major Nelson/GameNGuide)
Microsoft has finally revealed its next-generation gaming console Xbox One with much fanfare to an endless sea of debates and controversies. While the software giant has entered into a strategic partnership with Electronic Arts, a couple of other major publishers have plans to release exclusive titles for Microsoft's all-in-one living-room device. Microsoft has announced that its recently revealed Xbox One will receive 15 exclusive games, eight of which are original franchises. So, here is a compilation of all the confirmed games coming to Xbox One.

    Xbox One Exclusives:
Forza 5: As we speculated earlier, Microsoft is shifting its popular racing franchise into the gear of next-gen with the latest instalment of the Forza Motorsport game. Confirming its Xbox One exclusive arrival, Microsoft executive Larry Hryb, who blogs under the name Major Nelson, has posted an artwork of Forza 5 on his website, and the box art is also available on Amazon currently.
Quantum Break: Quantum Break will be one of the new properties coming on Xbox One. The game is being made by Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Max Payne and Alan Wake. The Finnish developer teased rather confusing footage of the game at the recent Xbox One reveal event, showing a mix of live action and traditional gameplay. "Developed exclusively for Xbox One, Quantum Break blurs the line between television and gameplay, integrating the two into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience. Quantum Break weaves the cinematic action of intense gameplay with the tension and drama of scripted television, creating a world where each has a direct impact on the other," is how Remedy explains the game.
Halo 5: The new Halo game will be revealed at the upcoming E3 alongside a teaser or a trailer for the Halo TV Series. The game is apparently in development at 343 industries and it's likely that a release date will be announced at E3. The release of the next Halo game is crucial for Microsoft because it's going to be the Xbox One flagship game and not Call of Duty: Ghosts because that's multiplatform.
Ryse: No surprises, Crytek's Ryse is an Xbox One exclusive title. The developer has updated its homepage with a Ryse poster saying it's an Xbox One exclusive alongside a countdown that ends during Microsoft's E3 press conference in June. "Exclusively for Xbox One," the website says following a tagline that states "Fight as a soldier. Lead as a general. Rise as a legend."
    Other Confirmed Titles
Call of Duty: Ghosts: One of the most-awaited games, Call of Duty: Ghosts is definitely coming to the Microsoft console. The game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision will be released sometime in 2013 with an entirely new storyline and engine.
Battlefield 4: EA has announced that developer DICE will present the multiplayer mode gameplay of the highly anticipated Battlefield 4 at the E3. "Fans attending E3 will have the chance to go hands-on with multiplayer in EA's booth located at #1601 in the South Hall. DICE will also be live streaming their entire E3 booth experience including multiplayer matches complete with commentary," the press release states. The game is set to release in Fall of 2013 and will be powered by DICE's proprietary Frostbite 3 Engine.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag: The new version of the Assassin's Creed will be coming to Xbox One in addition to PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC. Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is set in the Caribbean in 1715 where players will take control of Edward Kenway, the grandfather of Assassin's Creed 3 protagonist Connor Kenway. The game is likely to be the biggest in the franchise offering 50 unique locations including the cities of Havana, Kingston and Nassau in addition to smugglers' coves, plantations, jungles, fishing villages and more.
FIFA 14; Madden NFL 25; NBA Live 15; and EA Sports UFC: EA has inked a strong strategic partnership with Microsoft's Xbox One under which the publisher will bring all of their sporting games to the next-gen console and they will be powered by its new Ignite game engine.
