AlbumHunt Auto Uploader


Albumhunt is proud to announce the release of our own Auto Uploader program which will allow users to submit an unlimited number of albums to our database without even being at your computer.


How it works?
  1. Select a folder on your pc that has the .mp3 files you would like to upload.
  2. Make sure all the fields are correct and hit upload. Its that easy!
Advantages of using AH Auto Uploader:

  • Submit 100's of links to Albumhunt's database while your not even by your computer and receive points to win cash prizes at the end of the month.
  • AH Auto Uploader does all the work for you!
  • AH Auto Uploader will upload files directly to your personal Megaupload or Rapidshare account(s) and gain points to receieve free months.
  • Ohh yah! AH Auto Uploader will do all the work for you!
  • AH Auto Uploader will submit the albums under your personal Albumhunt account(s).
  • AH Auto Uploader will automatcially password protect the files with any password you choose.
  • In case we didn't mention it. It will do all the work for you!

AH Auto Uploader will automatically .rar your folder, password protect your folder (optional), upload your folder to the site of your preference and submit the link to the Albumhunt database under your name.

AH Auto Uploader Tutorial

1. First thing you do when you open up the AH Auto Uploader is set up your Uploader Options (as seen below)
  1. Select this option if you would like the program to open up the same folder where you last choose your folder to submit.
  2. Select this option if you would like the program to always browse a certain folder when opening.
  3. Here you can select what site you would prefer to upload to. Select the first option if you want to upload to the same site you last used or you can select a new site to use.
  4. In order to use the AH Auto Uploader, you will need WinRar installed on your computer. If you have WinRar installed already, then with this option you would browse to the folder where your WinRar .exe. is located.

    If you don't have WinRar installed on you computer, you can download it here for free.

  5. Here you can select what password you would like to set for your .rar file. ( we would appreciate if you enter in www.albumhunt.com as your password )
  6. Here you will enter your Albumhunt.com username and password so the program knows who to submit the file for. If you don't enter a username and password, the program will submit it under an anonymous user and you wont get credit for it.
  7. If you have a Megaupload or Rapidshare account, you can enter in your username and password and the program will submit the uploaded files directly to your account so you can get credits for each download.

    It is not required to have an account, if you don't submit a username and password then the program will just submit the links as a free user.


2. Now that your options are set up, it's time to upload! Select Upload an Album (as seen below)
  1. Click the browse button and navigate to the folder where your music is located.
  2. Now select the folder you would like to submit to Albumhunt. This folder MUST have .mp3 files in it in order for the program to recognize this as an album folder.
  3. Make sure the Artist Name is correct.
  4. Make sure the Album Name is correct.
  5. If you have a URL for the album cover then you can enter it here. It MUST be the direct link to the image.
  6. Mahe sure the Album Genre is correct.
  7. Make sure the Album Quality is correct.
  8. Here you can submit a tracklisting for the album if you like, this is optional. Do not submit complete .NFO's. Tracklisting only!
  9. If all required fields have been accounted for, hit the "Upload Album" tab.

If the folder your submiting has a .NFO and .SFV file in it then most of the fields including tracklisting will be automatically submitted, just look things over to make sure they are correct


3. Now that your options are set up, it's time to upload! Select Upload an Album (as seen below)
  1. If you would like to select more folders to submit then select this option. You can repeat this process as many times as you like.
  2. If your done adding folders to submit then select this option to begin uploading.

You can start your upload and then select more folders to upload while the program has been started, it will just add the additional folders to queue.

Future AH Auto Uploader Additions:


  • Add an option to select Albumhunt, AHSingles or AHVideoz as your upload destination.
  • Add more hosting sites like Sendspace, Zshare, Shareonall, ect. to upload to
